Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering at Tampere University of Technology, Finland. He received his B.Sc. degree from St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications, Russia, and his M.Sc. degree from Tampere University of Technology. Alexander has publications on a variety of networking-related topics in internationally recognized venues, as well as several technology patents. His primary research interest lies in the area of future wireless networks: shared spectrum access, smart RAT selection and flexible, adaptive topologies.
